Southwest Rain Gutters was founded in January 1999 by JT Ikonen, a U.S. Navy veteran who was introduced to the sheet metal trade in the Navy where he spent 4 years fine tuning his sheet metal craftmanship.

After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he applied his knowledge to architectural sheet metal and metal roofing design. With more than a decade of learning and applying the trade in both commercial and residential settings, he started Southwest Rain Gutters, a rain gutter and sheet metal business in San Diego, with the issuance of C-43 license #764900 from the California State License Board.

We serve a host of different clients, from home owners, property managers and general contractors to commercial establishments such as the Hotel Del Coronado and First American Title. Some of our repeat contractors (just to name a few); San Diego Stucco, Terry Lindquist Roofing Inc., U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Government.
